Who We Are
Kukulu Business Resources is an experienced and recognized provider of business transformation services. With expertise in the areas of business, hospitality, education, mental health, physical fitness, law, and Hawaiian culture, Kukulu harnesses its collective resources to grow and strengthen organizations.What We Do
Kukulu provides culturally competent business related services to organizations. Services include, but are not limited to, assessments and interventions (consultation, training, seminars, workshops) designed to enhance competitiveness, sustainability, and overall capacity.
Who We Work With
Kukulu is pleased to work with non-profit organizations, for-profit corporations, community-based programs, educational institutions, and faith-based entities.
How We Work
After identifying a client organization's needs, Kukulu will develop a customized package of interventions to address identified needs. Working with the client organization, a project team will be organized and deliver services to the organization. After a period of acclimation (typically three to six months), Kukulu will reassess the organization and ascertain the effectiveness of services initially provided. A final report will be generated and presented to the organization with recommendations as needed.

Kukulu provides its services to organizations throughout the State of Hawai'i and Pacific region.
Why We Do It
Kukulu is made up of individuals who call Hawai'i home and have a vested interest to make Hawai'i the best place to live for their 'ohana (family) and future generations. Kukulu's passion is to help Hawai'i organizations be as effective and efficient as possible. As these organizations develop greater capacity they will be better prepared to serve our island communities and guests. This in turn enhances and enriches Hawai'i's economy and quality of life making Hawai'i a better place to live and vist for everyone.
What's in a Name
In the Hawaiian language the word kukulu means to, establish, build, develop, and organize.
Our Pepe'e Logo
Kukulu has adopted the pepe'e as its logo. Pepe'e is the Hawaiian word for a fern frond that is starting to unravel (see above). The pepe'e's circular shape conveys a sense of perpetual forward motion; while its inward curl suggest a return to the point of origin. The pepe'e begins its life in the shadows of the forest floor, unfurling as it grows, it must overcome the elements to successfully pierce the darkness as it reaches for light and sky. Kukulu's pepe'e logo symbolizes new beginnings, overcoming obstacles, positive change, and empowerment through cultural understanding.
